This is a great rendition of the original Miraculous Medal! The prayer, “O’ Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee,” is actually written in French on this metal, as was in the original medal, and has all the specifications that were given to St. Catherine Labouré by the Blessed Virgin Mary. It is a GOOD sized medal that will fit on thicker chains that most men will wear, such as myself. I did shop around to get a quality and affordable stainless steel or 925S Sterling Silver rendition, finding the detail on this metal, especially the rendition of our Blessed Mother, top notch and beautiful! I bought mine during a sale, but for what you get, this is a beautiful and precious Miraculous Medal that will serve you for a lifetime! I wasn't sure what to expect when I realized this product was being shipped out of China. However, I am pleasantly surprised with what I have received. I am very impressed with both the quality of the product, as well as the very fast delivery. I received it exactly one week after it was order which is really quite amazing. It was packed well and was not damaged in transit. And the tracking of the package was easy to follow. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for many icons I have ordered from monasteries and companies located here in the US.
