This is a lovely, sterling silver Saint Benedict medallion and chain. It arrived safe and sound and as exactly as pictured. The medallion packs a lot of information and imagery onto a small surface, so you are not going to be able to read and truly appreciate it without a magnifying glass.
The quality and craftsmanship is incredible. This is the only pendant I have seen that you can actually see the details of Saint Benedict's face. The antiquing effect is beautiful and gives the pendant depth and contrast. The silver necklace that came with the pendant is great quality, and not as thin as a string like a necklace that comes with a pendant usually is.
