Handcrafted with Time and Care

Some Pieces Are Worth Making Slowly

For larger or made-to-order wood carvings, the complete process may take approximately 45–50 days. This time allows for careful communication, hand carving, detailed finishing, protective packing and sea freight shipping.

We believe a devotional piece intended to remain in a home for years deserves patience at every stage. Because each larger carving receives individual attention, timing may vary slightly. We kindly recommend confirming the current production and shipping schedule before placing your order.

Artisan hand carving the Sacred Heart of Jesus wooden statue

Hand Carved by Artisans

Faith Takes Form, One Carving at a Time

Each Sacred Heart of Jesus statue begins as a solid piece of beechwood. An artisan slowly works into the wood, shaping the posture, robes and expression while allowing the natural grain to remain part of the finished piece.

There is something meaningful in that process. A figure associated with patience, mercy and devotion is itself created patiently — not rushed, but gradually revealed through human hands.

Detail by Detail

The Face Is Carved to Invite Stillness

The eyes, beard, flowing hair and quiet expression are gradually refined with small carving tools. The goal is not simply to reproduce a form, but to preserve the peaceful presence at the heart of this design.

Seen up close, the small marks, wood grain and variations remind us that this is not an anonymous molded object. It has passed through the hands of someone who spent time shaping every visible detail.

The Heart of the Sculpture

A Symbol of Love That Gives Without Measure

At the center of the figure is the Sacred Heart of Jesus — a Christian devotional symbol associated with Christ’s love, compassion, sacrifice and mercy.

The heart, surrounding rays and carved flame are carefully defined by hand so that the meaning remains visible even from across a prayer room. It is a quiet reminder that Christian faith is not only something to understand, but something to live through love, forgiveness and compassion.

Artisan finishing a hand-carved Sacred Heart of Jesus statue

Finished by Hand

The Last Touches Are Just as Important as the First

After the main form has been carved, the artisan returns to the smaller details — the folds of the robe, edges of the hands, strands of hair and depth around the Sacred Heart.

The surface is then refined and finished so the grain remains visible beneath the final tone. This slower finishing process gives the sculpture warmth and depth without hiding the natural character of the wood.

Small differences from one statue to another are part of the nature of hand carving. They quietly record the material, the artisan and the time spent making the piece.

Sacred Heart of Jesus

When the Day Becomes Quiet, Let Faith Remain Close

The seated posture and lowered gaze give this image of Jesus an unusual sense of peace. It does not demand attention. Instead, it waits quietly — much like the moments of prayer we return to when the noise of the day has passed.

Placed in a prayer corner, beside Scripture or in a place you naturally pass each day, the statue can become a gentle reminder to pause, pray and return your attention to Christ.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

Matthew 11:28

Material, Size and Finish

Choose the Presence That Fits Your Space

Each version is carved from solid beechwood and offered in Natural Wood or Vintage Finish. The smaller sizes are intimate and personal, while the larger versions create a stronger devotional presence within a dedicated prayer space.

4 Inch 100 × 81.7 × 63.9 mm — a small personal reminder for a desk, bedside table, bookshelf or quiet prayer corner.

6 Inch 150 × 122.5 × 96 mm — well suited to a prayer table, shelf or home altar where it can be seen during daily devotion.

8 Inch 200 × 163.5 × 128 mm — a more visible presence for a family prayer area, living room, study or Christian home.

14 Inch 355 × 284 × 222 mm — a substantial hand-carved piece for a dedicated prayer space, larger home altar or a place where the image can remain part of family faith for years.

Natural Wood Light and warm, allowing the natural beechwood tone, grain and carving marks to remain clearly visible.

Vintage Finish A deeper, more traditional tone that brings greater contrast to the face, robe folds and Sacred Heart detail.

Natural wood varies from tree to tree. Grain, tone and small hand-finished details may differ slightly, making each carving individually distinctive.

A Place for Prayer

Not Only Something to See — A Reminder to Return to Prayer

A prayer corner does not need to be elaborate. Sometimes a Bible, a quiet place to sit and one meaningful image are enough to create a space where the heart can slow down.

This Sacred Heart carving is intended to live naturally within that kind of space — present during morning prayer, Scripture reading, difficult evenings or the simple moments when you need to remember that faith is still close.

Hand-carved Sacred Heart of Jesus statue as a Christian gift

A Gift of Faith

For the Times When You Want to Give More Than an Object

Some gifts celebrate a day. Others remain with a person through many seasons of life. A hand-carved Sacred Heart of Jesus can carry a simple message of faith: may Christ remain close to you, may you find peace in prayer, and may you remember that you are loved.

Baptism and Confirmation A lasting reminder of a meaningful step in Christian faith and a life continuing to grow in Christ.

Christmas A devotional gift that keeps the meaning of Christ close beyond the Christmas season itself.

Housewarming A thoughtful blessing for a new Christian home, prayer corner or family devotional space.

Comfort and Encouragement For someone walking through grief, uncertainty or a difficult season, it can quietly express what is sometimes difficult to say: “I am praying for you.”

For Parents and Grandparents A meaningful piece for someone whose faith has shaped a family, and something that may continue to carry that faith into the next generation.

Made to Remain

Wood Will Age. The Meaning Can Remain.

Over time, natural wood may deepen slightly in tone and become part of the home around it. Prayer books are opened and closed, families change, and seasons pass. A devotional object can quietly remain through those changes.

That is why we value solid wood and hand craftsmanship here. The intention is not simply to make another decoration, but to create a piece worthy of becoming part of a family’s prayer life.

Solid Beechwood Carved from solid wood rather than a hollow decorative shell.

Hand-Carved Details Face, hair, robes, hands and Sacred Heart details are individually refined during the carving process.

Natural Character Subtle differences in grain and finishing are expected and are part of what distinguishes a hand-finished wooden piece.

BGCOPPER mainly has three product lines: pendants, rings, and wood carvings.
1: The pendant homepage is made of A-grade high-quality tin. In addition, we also provide services for a small number of products such as copper, silver, and stainless steel.
Tinware can maintain its original luster for a long time with simple maintenance.
Please avoid strong collisions. The tinware has been used for a long time. If the color on the pattern becomes darker, you can boil the lotus leaf stem or lotus leaf with water, wipe it clean, and remove the scale as new.
2: The ring is mainly made of titanium steel. Titanium steel hardly needs maintenance, can keep the gloss for a long time, and is not afraid of high cold temperature.
3: Wood carvings mainly use ash wood and beech wood. Both ash wood and beech wood are high-hardness woods. They are used for carving in comparison, and the details are clear, beautiful, and will not rot, deform, and crack.

Saint Benedict

Beautiful and powerful protection for my home.

Beautiful and worth it

Very happy with service, quality of Icon, quick replies over shipping delays.

Thank you

Stunning sculpture

Very good product and communication from company was great from start to finish

Quality product, sizing is hard.

We had some issues at the beginning. The AI images make it impossible to tell what the actual size is going to look like. Mine is the 14"

The delivery was great, the problem wasn't the speed of dispatch, rather the issue lay with the company delivering the product once in Australia.

I'm very impressed with the quality, detail and gold painting. The stand doesn't really fit perfectly but I tiny bit of wax sorted it out.

I will be buying the larger 20" now I know what the 14" looks like.

Mounting hardware…

Its a little dark for me on the stain that was applied, but it is ok, thats not my real concern, as it is still very nice. However, for a 20” piece that cost $186, you could have at least put the mounting bracket on this item. The one sent has a “very small screw” and will likely not carry the weight on placing this on the wall. I am afraid that the wood will crack if I put in a little larger and longer screw in. I shouldn’t have to do this… this item should be “ready to hang”.

Thank you for your feedback, and we completely understand your concern.

This piece is primarily designed as a decorative display piece. The small screw and hanging hardware are included as an additional option for customers who prefer to display it on a wall.

The screw is intentionally kept short because the carving is made from solid wood. Using a longer screw directly into the back of the carving could penetrate the wood, damage the front surface, or increase the risk of cracking.

We understand that, especially for a 20-inch piece, you expected it to arrive fully ready to hang, and we apologize that this was not made clearer. We would not recommend replacing the included screw with a much longer screw directly into the carving.

Thank you as well for your kind words about the piece itself. We truly appreciate your feedback and will take your comments about the mounting setup into consideration for future improvements.

Xmas gift

The ring does not look as flawless as the picture. Nice weight to it.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you like the weight and feel of the ring, though we’re sorry the finish did not look as flawless as you expected from the photos.

Because each sterling silver ring is individually finished, there can be slight variations in the surface texture and detailing. However, we still want every piece to meet a high standard and look beautiful when received.

We truly appreciate you sharing your experience, and we’ll use your feedback to continue improving our finishing and quality inspection.
